Refund policy

Hopefully you love, love, love your Rebellenhaus piece and will never want to part with it, however, I do provide refunds in the following cases:

  • Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of the jewelry, all sales are considered final unless:
    1.) The product differs from the detailed description provided on this website. (It is the buyers' responsibility to read descriptions and dimensions thoroughly)
    2.) Item arrives damaged. (Photos of piece and packaging may be required in order to document the nature of the damage during shipping)

    If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can make it right.

    Return process must be followed and is detailed below:

    • The return must be approved by shop owner PRIOR to sending back an item.
    • Please note that you must contact owner within 3 days of receipt of your purchase to coordinate a return within 7 business days thereafter.
    • The piece must be unworn and in it's original condition.
    • The shipping cost of the return will be paid by customer and must be sent insured for full purchase price of item via USPS.
    • The item must be packaged carefully so that it is not damaged during shipping. This is super important: Please protect each earring, or two part pendants, from rubbing against each other in transit, and bead fringe from rubbing against metal or stones in transit.
    • Due to these items being one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable, if damage does occur during return shipping due to faulty packing the loss in value will be subtracted from refund amount as determined and calculated by owner, i.e. cost of broken stones, scratched stones, metal damage or scratches, etc..
    • Return must be sent with tracking. The tracking number needs to be sent to owner via message via contact page or email: Rebellenhaus@gmail.com.
    • Once item is received by owner, and assessed for condition, full refund will be issued within 3 days of receipt for unworn, non damaged items. Partial refunds will be issued within 3 days per owner assessment of items damaged in the return process due to faulty repackaging.
    • Refunds will be issued within 3 days of receipt of returned item and processed by crediting original form of payment. The refund is subject to posting timeframes dependent on original payment institution guidelines. i.e. your banks guidelines.

    Custom pieces are non-refundable.

    We do not offer exchanges.

    Cancellations are available only if packages have not been prepared for shipping at time of request. Once prepared for shipping, the order cannot be cancelled. Please note: I prepare packages for shipping very quickly, within an hour of an order being finalized in most cases.  

I know this is a lot! I hope you understand that as a one-of-a kind artist and a one-woman show, returns are not like they are at large retailers. I do not sell things in high volume and if something is damaged it is irreplaceable. With all of that said, I am not completely unreasonable, please reach out if you have a unique situation that does not fall into the two categories above.
